Update: Turns out that Elena Cardone is an “influencer” (man, I hate that term), podcaster, has a book, and claims she and her husband have amassed $5 billion in real estate assets. Here is her hubby from his website:
Grant Cardone is an American businessman, Private Equity Fund manager ($4B Assets Under Management ) founder of 10X Studios, Cardone Ventures, 10X Health System and co-founder/investor in sixteen other businesses. Also author of seven best selling business books, creator of Cardone U online education and The 10X Growth Conferences (the largest business conference in the USA.)
Soooo… one wonders, if the Cardones have THAT much in assets, why they don’t liquidate some and help Donnie pay those judgments themselves?
Beau of the Fifth Column posted a video less than half an hour ago that tipped me off to this. Someone named Elena Cardone created a GoFundMe trying to (not joking) raise $355 million dollars to pay for Trump’s legal judgements.
Go ahead and watch Beau’s video, he puts in in perspective:
For those that can’t see YouTube videos as they read this, here’s a quick quote where Beau is trying to put the amount in perspective. The setup is an example of a Trump-supporting worker earning $15 per hour, and how long it would take him to earn enough to pay the full $355 million:
If the person wanted to raise that money they would have had to start working in the year 678.
B.C.
That’s when they would have had to start working at $15 dollars per hour.
And it’s worth noting that when I did the math on this, I just assumed this person was super dedicated to Trump and they were going to work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, they weren’t even going to take off for Christmas.
Here’s the link to the GoFundMe page if you have an interest in looking at it. But here’s a taste of the fundraiser’s intro:
My name is Elena Cardone and I am a wife of Grant Cardone, mother and an ardent supporter of American values and an advocate for justice, I stand unwaveringly with President Donald Trump in the face of what I see as unprecedented and unfair treatment by certain judicial elements in New York. Throughout his presidency and beyond, Trump has fought tirelessly for this country, risking everything to preserve the freedoms and principles that define us as a nation.
The recent legal battles he faces are not just an attack on him, but an attack on the very ideals of fairness and due process that every American deserves. It's a moment that calls into question the balance of justice and the application of law, disproportionately aimed at silencing a voice that has been at the forefront of advocating for American strength, prosperity, and security.
I’ll stop there so you don’t all break into either uncontrollable laughter or vomiting.
The comments being made by donors are...illuminating… into some of their thought processes.
As of the time I’m writing this at 12:20 a.m. on Feb. 17th, there have been 815 donations totaling $31,744.
Which means they only have $354,968,256 to go. C’mon Red Hats! Pony up those Social Security checks and ration your medications! That roof doesn’t need fixed this year, just put out a few more buckets! Are you a Patriot or what?
