an embarrassment of riches to celebrate!
It’s been quite a journey over these past 12 weeks, rediscovering old favorites and going back to read stories that were missed the first time around. There’s an enormous selection of good material to choose from in twenty years’ worth of writing here, and each story has its own complex history attached: the bad, the good, the collaborations, the pie fights, the humor, the tears, the whirlwind, the truth. All of this and more make Daily Kos a unique place for people to gather and speak our minds and argue and agree and do our best to push the arc of history toward justice.
That gives us a lot to be proud of and plenty of reasons to celebrate this 20th anniversary year. Congratulations to all the nominees!
KOSCAR VOTING IS OPEN
Please don’t use the comment section here for voting. The comment threads are for reminiscing, encouraging folks to vote for one person or group or story over another, or venting about other aspects of the process, but if you want your votes to count they must be made on the Google Form.
You may vote for UP TO FOUR in each category. Be forewarned: There are so many outstanding choices that it may take you a while to narrow it down to four!
I only voted today myself—it was very hard to decide. But I wanted to make sure I at least voted for SOMEONE.
Don’t let this opportunity to recognize our outstanding community members pass you by!
TWO winners will be announced in each category
TOMORROW, Thursday, May 26.
