Pardon me if I make an observation.
It's not a hoo haw, or a wee wee, or a pussy, or a split tail, nor a muff. And it does have a legitimate scientific name.
It's a Vagina.
And that menstruating blood that so many males seem to abhor is what lead in part to their conception. Menstruation is the uterus sloughing off the lining of tissue inside of it. Tissue it builds up once a month in order to prepare for a possible pregnancy. So if you think menstruation is unclean, be sure and point that finger at yourself in the mirror. That's the same kind of blood that eventually lead to your live birth you ungrateful ass.
It is nothing to be ashamed of, it is natural and good. It is a sign of fertility and health in a woman. If you don't like it, then buy yourself a rubber doll.
If women do not menstruate, then they suffer fertility issues, but also other health problems. This is part of our youthful appearance. The fullness of the breast, the smooth skin, the shiny thick hair, etc---these are all tied to the cycles of menstruation.
If the dude who supposedly wants to be the next president of the United States doesn't know this simple fact of human biology, it really makes me wonder what other basic facts he doesn't know.
Can you imagine how tone deaf, and ignorant his work for women voters would be in terms of health care? Even preventative health care? Next he will be complaining about how messy birth is, and that we should just buy babies instead.
Not to mention, just his nasty misogynistic attitude in general.
Women make up about half of our population and many are registered voters. They also serve in the military, which I have to say, as a female vet, Trump's word-vomit about women remind me a lot of the misogynistic word-vomit I often heard while in uniform back in the day. And I am sure Trump was "only joking." American women serve in every kind of job out there, from those traditionally held by women to those traditionally male dominated jobs like the military, like firefighting, police work, etc.,
Crap about people being on their knees, and blood coming out of their whatever, and all of it--isn't really shocking given the source, just sad and pathetic.
It's an outdated attitude. I can see why many republicans cringe when Trump takes the stage; because his antics remind us daily of past, Republican, anti-woman blurbs, and legislation being constantly spewed from the NeoConservative movement.
Binders full of women on their knees with blood coming out of their whatevers, while they steal jobs from men and neglect 'Muricah's children, when they aren't welfare queens making too many babies that is, suckling on the tax payer teat!
Now we know where the Breast Feeding in public issue came from--(snark)
Honestly Trump's word-vomit is the kind of stuff I would expect to see on a late night television showing of some awful 80s movies. It's really quite crass, given that just recently, women were kicked out legislative sessions for discussing female biological issues impacted by medical legislation.
Anyone else here smell something burning? Like irony making too steep a re-entry?
Seriously.
Trump makes some nasty crass remark about Menstruation and makes it publicly towards a specific woman, asking him at a debate about his past history of sexist remarks, but in actual legislative sessions, a Female Law Maker can be banned from the process for actually saying the word Vagina in the context of medical legislation that impacts women's health.
Wow.
And I hear that Fox viewers want Megyn Kelly banned from future debates for stirring the pot. If you ask me, it seems like this pot stirs itself with this bunch. They are just looking for a woman to blame for all their woman problems. I have observed that often, that individual women happen accidentally onto Feminism, when they have to protect their professional standing and their pay check.
Funny how that works. Well actually not funny at all. But sort of strange perhaps.
That makes Trump petulant and vindictive. When I watch a presidential debate, I am looking to see qualified professionals hashing out their planks in their platforms, genuine issues of the day, presented in a way that is professional and courteous and wicked-smart.
When you see this level of unprofessional behavior; can you imagine this guy as the Commander and Chief of the US Military? That is a cringe-worthy thought unto itself. I would rather salute Gilligan.
Trump turned this debate into a giggle and fart session under the Jr High bleachers. All that was missing was a round of spin the bottle, and some pressed moons to go with that sort of locker-talk. That's pretty disappointing on many levels.
I don't ask for much. Most women don't. All we ask for, like every other American, regardless of race, sexual orientation, age, religion, etc., is for equal opportunities, equal rights, and equal protections under the laws of this land. Same as.
We can't do that, if we are reduced to beings that harbor mysterious shame caves that bleed with the moon-tides. His commentary is reminiscent of medieval superstitions.
We cannot achieve that if the person who is in charge, sets examples like this. People like Trump would invite our own to mistreat us socially, medically, professionally and academically, and worst of all, invite people outside this country to disrespect our female citizens as well--in every capacity. He would set the tone.
Trump is more than welcome to be "funny" about women, in his smoking jacket, in his very own great room. I really don't want that in the oval office though. He would not represent me, or people like me--females, women that is. He clearly sees us as beneath him.
To which female kind, and our male supporters should retort, "In your dreams jerkface".
Also I never thought I would ever say this--but he makes a worse candidate than Sarah Palin. She had better speaking abilities than he does, and was more professional.
That's a new low GOP. You are going to need to purchase snorkels and flippers if you go any lower with your candidate selection. Your rolling meth van just turned into a personal submersible filled above capacity with no oxygen source.
