Did you ever notice...
.. the pundits would have the poor, working, and middle classes support trade deals because they're (supposedly) for everyone's good, even if the benefits will only trickle down over the long run. We're called to nobly sacrifice our present jobs for future potential (or more appropriately, for the good of the billionaires).
... and those same pundits think it illogical that people would riot and destroy the local infrastructure, even though it clearly gets attention and action.
Why is one sacrifice celebrated, and the other called stupid?
Perhaps the "stupid" see that rioting actually achieves benefits for the downtrodden, whereas trade deals don't.
