Gravity Glue (Michael Grab) is a Canadian now living in Boulder, Colorado. For years he's been making incredible rock sculptures by balancing rocks on each other making amazing constructs. Some are done in Boulder Creek, others on the seashore, on sidewalks and other places.
For some reason, the Boulder Police told him that he was subject to arrest and fines if he continued to do his art in public places. Apparently because "rock stacking" was somehow damaging public property.
Come below the swirling orange Boulder Creek rapid symbol for the rest of the story and the link to the video.
Gravity Glue wasn't happy with the decision of the police to shut him down. He took to Facebook and posted his plight there. A local publication also got interested and presented his case.
Subsequently, the Boulder City Attorney got the message(s). He called the Boulder PD and told them to lay off the rockin' rock stacker and find some real criminals to arrest. Then he called Gravity Glue and gave him the good news. So GG is now back making his petrous pyramids and parallelograms not to mention arches and other wonders just using rocks, manual dexterity and gravity to glue his works together.

Even if you just have a minute or two to watch part of the video it's worth it. The interplay of his skills, the sculptures he makes, the creek, the whole scene is relaxing and fun. A great way to start the weekend, too.
