This is just a follow up to my asymmetric warfare post of a few weeks ago.
Love last weeks raid to get the ISIL Oil Minister, but that should just be the beginning.
When you hold and govern land, your vulnerable to all the problems we had in Iraq, the Germans had in WWII and ISIL should be having now.
Where are the IEDs and the snipers? Where is the islamic underground with all it's dirty tricks?
When you forcefully run a state your vulnerable to all the problems of being an invader.
We simply need to provide more support to locals opposed to ISIL, along with adding our own dirty tricks from time to time. I think they already have a good education on how to make life tough for the opposition. After all, we helped them learn a lot at our expense.
