Chris Rock fitting the description of a known fugitive—black professor guy
Chris Rock is a very well-known public figure. He is a wealthy man. He drives an expensive car. None of these things are surprising. However, Chris Rock, is also black. He's a known African-American entertainer. But, first and foremost, according to his
Instagram account, he's still considered black by law enforcement. So, he's started taking selfies every time he gets pulled over by police.

Maybe Chris Rock is a non-stop moving violator? Maybe he's a part of
a racist statistic.
The Justice Department statistics, based on the Police-Public Contact Survey, show that "relatively more black drivers (12.8%) than white (9.8%) and Hispanic (10.4%) drivers were pulled over in a traffic stop during their most recent contact with police." Or, to frame it another way: A black driver is about 31 percent more likely to be pulled over than a white driver, or about 23 percent more likely than a Hispanic driver. "Driving while black" is, indeed, a measurable phenomenon.
