As you lose weight, your body's needs can change too. However, it can be hard to figure out what you need to do or eat. I recently re-assessed my diet and didn't like what I saw, in light of the exercises I do and the food I regularly eat. As well, I realized my food allergies were taking me down several notches, as I haven't been getting nearly enough calcium.
Speaking of food allergies, I had a bad attack as well, so I'm on a short course of prednisone.

My usual breakfast has been 1 1/2 cups of either generic Rice or Corn Chex, 1 Cavendish banana (the usual yellow kind), some other fruit (frozen mango on the hot days, strawberries when possible because...well, strawberries), and 1/2 cup coconut milk on the cereal. So, not a lot of protein. Given my extensive weightlifting and walking, I had to re-assess and am going to try to add in one tablespoon of WowButter (fake peanut butter made with non-GMO soy) and a couple of tortillas, while cutting back on the cereal.
I'm also going to have to try to remember to take my calcium supplements. I'm very bad at taking pills, so I drafted the husband for help. Between my 160 min/day of weightlifting and 90 min/day walking, I clearly need it. Given my numerous food allergies, including to milk and most other good food sources of calcium, I can't get enough calcium in my diet. I eat broccoli, but there isn't 1000 mg. plus of calcium in it, even when I eat 4 cups' worth.
When's the last time you reassessed your diet?
142 on the scale today. Not surprising, had an extraordinarily bad allergic reaction yesterday and didn't get in all my exercise. I anticipate that possibly going up until I end the prednisone.
How's your week going? If you want breathtakingly awful "analysis" of American medicine, I recommend any books by Harvey Diamond. Remember, everyone, you can't poison your way to good health! Plus, don't get medical treatment for cancer. (Yes, he really says breathtakingly stupid things like this.)
