I have no idea if Hello Kitty is popular with little girls. Hell, I don’t know what adult girls are into.
I do know that a year or so ago Fender guitars were selling a Hello Kitty guitar through their lower tier brand, Squier. Not every child will sustain interest in playing music, but it has to be a better outlet than giving your kid an Uzi.
This week a 9-year-old girl accidentally killed a shooting range instructor with a fully automatic Uzi. There are no federal laws mandating children being kept away from guns. It’s a shame that thanks to organizations like the NRA, who’s mission is to put as many guns in as many hands as possible, that we probably need a law prohibiting children access to firearms.
Why would anyone want to hand an Uzi to a 9-year-old child? You wouldn’t want one driving a car. Hand them a guitar.
