Sat Jun 30, 2012 at 6:24 AM PT: I chided myself adequately I think for having gotten the words about numbers wrong, too much information sometimes, but I hope something else is worth considering, that carrying a gun and shooting a gun are two different matters, and that shooting carries consequence.
Obviously I've been dogged by people thinking they can fire whenever they want, wherever. I don't live in a very rural area. I do live where it was a long time ago, very rural, but not everyone's noticed that people live here. Caused me too often to wonder how the act of shooting is addressed in the 2nd amendment. If it is.
The western fires, this year and in what seems like every year now, break my heart.
Anyway, this is at least a common sense issue, and all I ask is that if you're armed, use some common sense. Puh-leez. Thanks, folks.
