Some American have been fooled into thinking Millionaires & Billionaires create jobs. I believe they will continue to protect tax beaks for Millionaires and Billionaires until they recognize this simple fact:
Once they embrace that the rich are not creating jobs, they just might open their hearts to:
And maybe they will learn where all the job creation money goes each year - bonuses for the overpaid Executive Staff.
Once their eyes are open they might find out how much cash they contribute each year to Millionaires and Billionaires for totally unneeded tax cuts for the rich.
If there are 5 people in their household in California that would be $5000 a year.
Of course to give the Millionaires and Billionaires $5000 a year the parents would, most likely, have to make $9000 more a year. Because working Americans have to earn $9000 for every $5000 they get to keep (after all working Americans pay their taxes out of each paycheck; and at a might higher percentage rate than Millionaires and Billionaires,
Most of the uber-wealthy live on tax free bond income, paying much less in state & federal taxes and nothing at all in Social Security & Medicare taxes.
What if these voters learn just how much the special gift in tax credits that these 20 Millionaire and Billionaire Hedge Fund Mangers get. They get an amount in tax savings a sum equal to the entire cost of every public school teachers salary in California, for the entire year!
They might even see how un-American and morally bankrupt the Republicans are:
and:
In my day-dream they might spend some of their own money helping fight the 2011-2012 final battles in the Republican led war to take away our voting rights.
Perhaps they could/will donate a little bit of money helping get out the vote (now that the Republicans destroyed ACORN, whose staff and volunteers used to do such a good job of registering voters and helping them with transportation to the polls.:
Each day Fox (faux) news successfully lies to confuse their viewers - and that is why those viewers say and do the darn nest things:
Please remind MSNBC that:
Keep those witty sound-bites, bill boards, & bumper stickers coming:
Please alert the few Democrats lucky to be elected last year, that they need an annual training/refresher course in how to communicate when talking:
How to communicate in soundbites/billboards/bumper stickers
Just last February I wrote this diary on how to communicate while talking:
Note to Dems: A Good Soundbite Has 3 Parts
And sent out CA elected officials a special diary about their poor word choices when talking to the press:
