Good Sunday morning everyone! I thought that this work week was never gonna end! It sure seemed to drag on and on. Sunday morning with my munchkins and some tunes is always a pleasure, but it's an even bigger pleasure this week because of how tedious the work week was.
I could insert the standard laundry list of whimpering and blubbering here about what it is that is so lacking at work, but that would only grant the crappy week more power to impact my enjoyment of life by extending the amount of time that I allow it to bother me. Instead, I choose to leave the work week in the past where it belongs and to focus on the company of the two little people who are the light at the end of my work week tunnel every Sunday.
So, in the spirit of leaving the work week's annoyances behind and enjoying my time with the minion trainees instead, let's see if I can get some rug cutting going on.
This week, like his old man, Todd has been on a Keller Williams kick.
He surprised his mom and me by singing along with this one a couple of days ago. We didn't think that he'd been paying that much attention and we'd only played it a few times around him. Never underestimate a 5 year old. (I know, same pic as above. Different song)
My super hot wife has been digging this one lately:
This one's an entertaining tail:
I would upload some more Keller Williams for you, but someone at youtube has decided that I absolutely must link my account to a Google account and whenever I do that the upload function starts malfunctioning. Hopefully the person who made that decision winds up with a very healthy gnat population in their neighborhood this spring and also winds up surrounded by people who keep pronouncing the 'S' at the end of Illinois. It'd serve 'em right!
I guess we'll switch over to Lila's recent kick now. She's been all about the busy strings with a little bit of a twang lately. She's a good kid.
To serve as transition, here's a Keller Williams song that was already on youtube which contains that twangy string thing that my Petunia's been craving. The lyrics are pretty clever, imo.
That was String Cheese Incident playing with Keller on that last one. Here is another from String Cheese.
a little more from String Cheese:
I know that this will come as a shock to the regulars around here, but and Allman Brothers tune accidentally slipped into the diary. Who'da thunk it, right?
As always, we are very grateful for the time that you've chosen to spend with us on this Sunday morning. Our good time is enhanced by sharing it with you. We hope that you will join us in the comments section to add whatever you think will help to keep little rear ends bouncing around room or whatever you just feel like sharing or just for conversation and company.
Remember Todd and Lila love you.
