This is a big issue for me when it comes to the GOP: The party never seems to offer any real solutions, only complaints.
Rather than go on about that, though, I'm posting the "clickable sections" links to the platforms of the five major political parties in the USA, arranged in order of the year each was founded. (Each website offers a PDF for download if that's your preference.)
Every American voter should read all of the major party platforms even though it takes "forever" to do so. If you don't know what a party stands for then you can't really be confident that you're voting for your own best interests. (Most people, regardless of how "altruistic" they claim to be, are mostly concerned about the impact of legislation and policies on themselves and their loved ones, even when it comes to matters of national security because no one wants war coming to their city or town or back yard.)
