When the owners of the
The Social Club bought a property across from Goodpasture Christian School, they began a controversy. The Social Club is a swingers-type organization—from their website:

This wasn't going to fly with the town and back in March they were able to get the zoning laws changed.
The club's attorney threatened a lawsuit:
On Monday, Roberts told News 2 he was sending a letter to Metro council members asking them to reject the proposed ordinance.
When asked if he was considering litigation if the ordinance passes, he said, “I think so. Without question.”
It seems that The Social Club has decided not to sue.
It sounds like there may have been an epiphany:
They now have plans to turn it into a non-denominational church.
According to a flyer sent to club members this week, the church will be called The United Fellowship Center. The flyer states that members must pay $100 dollars annually to belong to the organization.

But many are skeptical, including District 8 Councilwoman Karen Bennett.
“Do I really think they are a church? Not really,” she said.
Bennett received an advance flyer for the church, which says it will be honoring all yearly subscribers and members of The Social Club. The flyer for the United Fellowship Center said men are charged $50 and women $20.
The owner of the building, according to Councilwoman Bennett, has become an ordained minister via the internet.
“Churches have a lot of rights, but it is also federally regulated,” she said. “They certainly have their right to become a church; they just need to make sure they follow guidelines.
