Personally, I'm tempted to hope that he'd do a version of over turning the money changers in the temple on your dark souls.
For you are hypocrites of the highest order, whited sepulchres wrapping your cruelty in a self serving, self righteousness that is devoid of compassion.
You offend my soul. You offend God. For I am God's as we all are children of god.
The gay man. The homeless Veteran. The battered Wife. The hungry child. The homeless family. The woman working two jobs. The sick child and their family. The grieving mother and her murdered daughter. The bereft father and his lost son. The abandoned atheist. The beaten Muslim American. The paralyzed grandfather. The injured toddler and his father.
All, all, are children of god, of this universe. We are all star stuff. We are all imperfect, frail and finite. We are all beloved.
You have chosen to deny our birthright. You have chosen to deny the most important commandment of all - "love one another."
Instead, you rejoice in cruelty and call it religion. You insult God.
You defame Jesus. You use both to do harm.
May God have mercy on you, for I have none left.
