Neither does the American public know what really did (and still does) happen in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and the United States.

This article is quite informative, but there's more to tell. Most of what happened in Vietnam actually happened all over again in the Middle East. Some of what happened in Vietnam--the bombings, massacres and executions of innocent civilians--also happened within the borders of the US, and has happened again in the US as it did in the Middle East.
The mainstream media and the academic community has been, and still is, complicit in the US Government's efforts to cover it all up. This massive cover-up may not be working as well now as it used to. The public still has more rights than the government leaders want it to have.
