I thought readers would enjoying hearing one of the latest conspiracy theories emerging today from the republican noise makers where I work.
As a reader can probably surmise from my handle, my employment puts me in direct contact with a cadre of maniacal right wing nuts. The CTs constantly spewing from the mouths of these buffoons are astonishing and, of late, downright hateful. Not a day goes by without at least one verbal tirade directed at the president, the first lady sometimes and occasionally the first daughters. These bigoted clowns find nothing off limits.
More below the fold.
These characters were grinning from ear to ear this past Monday regarding the three “scandals” currently plaguing the Whitehouse. It was déjà vu to the day after the first presidential debate, that’s how happy they were. Several of them excitedly proclaimed Obama’s presidency as a crumbling house of cards.
I noticed the mood somewhat subdued yesterday and today. I suspect because they were hearing reports that the scandal trifecta as not as scandalizing as first thought or reported. Once again, it seems, their preferred media outlets are proving to be less-than-reliable in projecting ultimate outcomes – not unlike the buzz kill they experienced that late Tuesday evening last November.
So, today, their latest CT purports to have the president maneuvering the events of this past week or ten days (IRS, AP wiretaps, doctored emails, release of unaltered emails) to divert attention from his failing policies. I find this CT interesting because it seems to suggest these yoyos are already concocting some cockamamie reason to explain the failure of their scandal trifecta to bring down the president. They just cannot ever admit they are wrong.
