And here it is.....
"There are world organizations for trade, health, the environment, telecoms, food. There are two black holes in world governance: finance, with its bursting bubbles, and migration." - WTO head Pascal Lamy.
Source is a here.
How many Americans have died to ensure we have REPRESENTATIVE GOVERNMENT?? Who will represent us with a "world governance over finance and migration". How will we elect these officials? How will they be held accountable to the populace?

This is a big issue which we need to address. I do not want to discuss the issues of migration, interest rates, stimulus etc. All of those issues are totally trumped by the potential loss of representative government. If nothing else, we as a Country need to unify in our belief that we will NEVER allow ourselves to be represented or "ruled" by a class of people who are not accountable to the American voter. If we were ever to allow that to happen, revolution would certainly ensue.
This is a dangerous trend where our elected representatives do not want to take ownership for their decisions. The easiest way to avoid that is to appoint bureaucrats who the representatives can blame is something is afoul.
Congress passes bills which essentially give the White House a blank check (Just did it again with the bail out), the White House then tells bureaucrats to go administer. When something serious comes up, they both approve bills which have to be interpreted by unelected judges.
Now, it appears, we are being asked to turn it all over to the WTO or some other world body.
Loss of sovereignty leads to loss of representative government which ultimately, in America anyways, leads to armed insurrection.
Maybe it is time to buy a bunch of guns and head to the Rocky Mountains.
