"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
We the People of the United States, having seen the basic Principles outlined in the Preamble subverted, do therefore submit the following desires and demands, to restore to this Union the Principles upon which it is based:
We the People of the United States, first and foremost want accountability from Our elected officials- real accountability, where they accept responsibility for their actions or inactions, and either correct the damage or resign. We want our elected officials to be more concerned about Us, the People of the United States, than
their own power and position.
We the People of the United States want elections conducted with transparency, so that We can be certain that elected officials who are more concerned with their power and position will lose both by being voted out of office.
We the People of the United States, to provide for domestic Tranquility and common defense, desire that Our military is not used for a policy of pre-emptive warfare. More specifically, in the short term We desire that our military is removed from Iraq and returned to Afghanistan to finish the mission We started, and given the equipment to enable them to perform this task to the best of their ability. We support and honor Our citizens who give their life and health for Our country, and desire that Our fallen are given full honors and their sacrifices are made known, rather than hidden from Us by closed funerals. We desire that Our wounded veterans are given the best health care avaliable, and that if Our elected officials consider this too expensive, then it should be yet another reason to not deploy Our troops unnecessarily.
We the People of the United States, in Order to promote the general Welfare and our Posterity, demand reform of Our health care system; We believe when elected officials put corporate profit before the health of the Citizens who elected them, they are violating the basic Inalienable Right to Life which We Believe to be Self-Evident.
We the People of the United States, in Order to establish Justice and secure the Blessings of Liberty, demand that the right to petition for the writ of habeas corpus ad subjiciendum, revoked in the Military Commissions Act of 2006, be immediately restored, for lack of this right violates the basic Inalienable Right to Liberty which applies to all human beings.
We the People of the United States denounce the Unitary Executive Theory as the road to Despotism, and reject all laws which attempt to enforce it. We maintain that the Executive Branch, which holds the power to enforce the Law, must also be held accountable to the Law, for if it is not, there is no Justice, Tranquility, Liberty, or Posterity for Us, the People of the United States.
