I am posting this letter dated August 9th in the hopes that our Congress people or their staff reads it and understands the ramifications of the actions taken by some of their colleagues when they publicly announce that they will ignore the Democratic voters

RE: Contributions To The DSCC
Dear DSCC Members:
Today Senator Schumer issued a statement that Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) fully supports Mr. Lamont's candidacy. Yet it seems that not all Democratic Senators are united in this decision. Al From also made a statement today indicating that Senator Tom Carper has said he will support Senator Lieberman in November. Senators Daniel K. Inouye, Mark Pryor, Ken Salazar have also previously indicated that they would support Joe Lieberman's Independent candidacy instead of the duly elected Democratic candidate.
Your stated goal, DSCC - Committed To Electing a Democratic Senate, is called in question when members of your body decide rather than calling on Joe Lieberman to abandon his independent bid, they publicly refuse to do so and many are publicly announcing that they will support him over the duly elected Democratic candidate.
This is basically sending CT primary voters a message of thank you very much for taking the time to vote and your input. Yawn... Now let's get back to putting our Good Old Boy Lieberman back into his seat. This is a very dangerous message to be sending. Especially at this point in time, when we need Democratic voters to believe that their vote is vitally important.
I am therefore returning your request for a contribution and request to be taken off your mailing list. While even one Democratic member who supports Senator Lieberman in November remains in the Senate or the House, I will not contribute to either the DSCC or the DCCC. You see I take my loyalty to Democratic candidates and to the democratic process very seriously. It is a shame that some members of the party do not.
Sincerely,
