  •  Completely off-topic, but... (9+ / 0-)

Several years ago some co-workers and I were working on a company float for my city's holiday parade. One of my co-workers was pointing an electric stapler around like it was a gun, not thinking that when they go off, they go OFF! I turned to see her pointing that thing at my face and some weird instinct took over... "PUT IT DOWN! NOW! STEP AWAY FROM IT!" She did, and the look on her face was priceless. I think my yelling stunned some of my co-workers...hell, it stunned me!

I guess my point is that there are way too many careless, clueless, stupid people, and if we can't trust them to safely handle an electric stapler, how can we trust them to handle a lethal weapon?

    •  Exactly! People don't think (0+ / 0-)

Or they get mad, they get hurt, and want to lash out.

As human beings we really can't be trusted. That's obvious.
