        We've been doing what you suggested...with drugs...for years and the situation has only gotten worse.  We tried it with booze a long time ago and that failed too.  But, think what you like.  This isn't going to happen for reasons you would just love to argue...and are therefore useless to state.

          you are using an irrelevant metaphor. One of the reason's it's difficult to obtain grenade launchers is because they are against the law and it is rigidly enforced. I'm sorry if my pie eyed suggestion isn't to your liking. It works for me.

      Falling in love with a gun is not like falling in love with meth.  Separation may be difficult and it may cause anxiety, but it doesn't cause the human body to go haywire.
