Of course I don’t support him, but it’s the Senatorial election season in Louisiana so that means all manner of deviants, miscreants and other types of ants are running for office. As you probably know, Louisiana is very red so I believe there’s little chance of electing a Democratic senator. We did elect a Democratic governor, John Bel Edwards, so maybe there’s hope. Honestly there’s so many candidates it’s difficult to keep track of them all. Good to see a comedian in there keeping it real. There’s been some ridiculous campaign advertising (I’m looking at you, John Fleming) saying things like “I support T rump’s immigration plan” and “He took on Obama’s corrupt IRS”. And of course David Duke is back, emboldened by T rump’s facist ravings. I think Caroline Fayard and Foster Campbell are the leading Democratic candidates. I got this list from Ballotpedia.
