1) I cracked up laughing at some of the diaries this weekend ranting about the expulsion of protesters from the Trump assemblies. This, after all, is the site which announced that criticism of Bernie's opponent Hillary would lead to banning after March 15.
2) This is not quite a fair analogy, of course. Kos does not hold national office so his ban is more akin to Trump's housekeeper and chauffeur throwing Republicans out of the assembly if the Republicans don't clap loudly for Trump after March 15.
3) The irony does not end there. We hear that Trump supporters are sheet-wearing racists. But real racism is being given control of the House and Senate in 2007-2010 plus the White House starting 2009 and dumping six years of 15% unemployment onto black Americans while letting Rich white donors haul money out the back door of the US Treasury in wheelbarrows.
4) Real racism is spending $Trillions on war in Iraq --on "defense" -- while letting black Democratic communities in Camden NJ, Chester PA, Flint MI,etc endure some of the highest homicide rates on the planet. Because there is no real police protection, no jobs , no education, no local tax revenue and no hope. Real racism is voting for an unnecessary war to seize non-existent nukes in Iraq because Israeli billionaire Haim Saban thought it would be good for Israel -- a war that killed
more black men in a decade than the Klan managed in a century. Real racism is thinking black voters will forget those betrayals if you just shed a few fake tears over Trayvon Martin-- and shrug with indifference as the unemployment rate for black males of Trayvon's age hangs at 40%.

5) I can appreciate Kos's viewpoint, in part. The Bill of Rights says Americans have the right to peacefully assemble and organize to redress grievances. That they have the right to free speech. But that right applies to Trump supporters as well as to Daily Kos members. People who claim Trump supporters are Nazis lose credibility when they themselves use the tactics of the Nazis -- disrupting assemblies of political opponents, sabotaging discussion and inciting violence with pathological lies. Smearing their own countrymen with the most vicious slanders.
6) I worked in Obama's 2008 campaign and I have donated several hundred dollars to Bernie's campaign. Bernie says he is not responsible for this conflict and I believe him.
Because this conflict has a characteristic stench -- one I recognize because I also worked in
Howard Dean's 2004 campaign and saw how Dean was destroyed by Democratic billionaire S Daniel Abraham.

8) The only people who benefit from setting working Americans at each others throats -- at turning blacks against whites, whites against Hispanics, men against women,etc--- are our billionaire oligarchs. Democratic billionaires as well as Republican ones.
It is curious that the two factions now being manipulated into conflict are the very ones that agree the system is rigged against the average citizen and that our Richest 1% should stop
discarding Americans workers like used toilet paper.
9) Trump is a fascist? It was not Trump who let his Director of National Intelligence get up and lie --under oath -- to the Congress about the NSA's massive surveillance of the American People. It was not Trump who supported that lie with silence --it was Democratic President Barack Obama, his political appointees, and Democratic members of the House and Senate Intel Oversight Committees. And we only found out the truth because a young Edward Snowden destroyed his life and went into exile to warn us.
It is not Trump who is flying military drones over America.
It was not Trump who --having access to every classified document in the US government -- shutdown any investigation of the crimes of Dick Cheney and the Bush Administration.
10) It was not Trump who rebooted the Cold War -- and a $Trillion/year military budget -- by orchestrating a coup in a bankrupt Ukraine that is 4500 miles from Washington and right on Russia's doorstep. Do we really want to risk nuclear war just so Exxon and Chevron can export gas out of Turkmenistan and make good on that $50 billion Caspian Sea investment?
The net result of Bill Clinton's Globalization is that our net debt (NIIP) to foreigners
is now equal to 40% of GDP -- a massive increase from the 7% of 2007. How are we going to support this Empire and fight a Cold War with Russia if China stops lending us the money? -- have our retiring baby boomers develop a taste for cat food? I remember Bill Clinton assuring us in 1999 that we would get rich selling GM cars to the Chinese — how is that working out?

11) Trump incites violence? The suicide rate for middle-aged men has soared 20% in recent years.
Real Median Income for middle-aged workers has collapsed by 17% — a massive change from the steady rise of the 20th century. This Great Recession --spawned by bland Washington corruption -- has killed far more Americans than Al Qaeda. And of course we keep the lid on by incarcerating our citizens at the highest rate on the planet. It was not Trump who bitchslapped Sister Souljah when she complained about the high homicide rate for black men -- it was Bill Clinton.

12) For some, the beauty of using a few provocateurs to attack Trump supporters is that it ensures poor Democrats will receive no support from poor Republicans -- thereby helping to keep poor Democrats in their state of helpless dependency. Divide and Rule. If the Republican billionaires destroy Trump at the convention, a significant percentage of his supporters might have fallen back on plan B -- vote for Bernie in revenge in the general election. This orchestrated conflict thus hurts Bernie as well as Trump.
In the course of criticizing the Trump Movement's many shortcomings, how about if we work on some of our own?
